I"m back with a new FunTivity for everyone at home, with Fall around the corner, and everyone being stuck at home, this classic funTivity is always fun times with the family and friends. All you will be needing is a few simple yummy ingredients for creating these Easy Caramel DIPPED Apples. What to put on the apple well their are chopped nuts, sprinkles, chocolate drizzle, oreos, peanut butter, pretty much anything you can drizzle or chopp up you can use to top your apple with.

Nothing says “Hello, fall!” quite like a caramel dipped apples. First of being a Refreshing fruit + sticky caramel + endless toppings = a guaranteed yummy dessert win at the end of the day. Now it’s faster than ever to whip up a DIY version of these delicious apple on-a-stick with this recipe for Easy Caramel Apples.

The layout on this DIY set-up could not be any simpler: 1st We Melt down your favorite brand of caramels, I like finding home made caramel, but this time we went with Tommy and Jenny's, thet where sugar free and had some sea salt, we then add a splash of heavy cream then dunk your apple-of-choice and coat it with a range of toppings, from chopped nuts and dried fruit to sprinkles and chocolate drizzle.

A few words of wisdom when it comes to perfecting fall’s most festive and fruit-filled dessert:

  • Wet = Mess: It’s important that the apples are washed and then thoroughly dried prior to plunging them into the hot caramel. Any trace of moisture on the apples will cause the caramel to slip and slide right off.

  • Tiny Toppings: The smaller, more finely chopped your toppings, the better shot you have at them staying in place as the caramel cools.

  • Cool Avoids a Pool: … of caramel, that is! If you’re opting for a second layer of deliciousness in the form of melted chocolate, always allow the first layer of caramel to cool completely before plunging your apple into a hot bath of chocolate.

How to Melt Caramels - Instructions

  • Unwrap the Caramels by gently squeezing the sides of the caramels and then peeling off the wrappers. Be sure to unwrap all of the caramels before melting.

  • Place the unwrapped caramels into a medium-sized saucepan and add 2 tablespoons of Heavy cream.

  • Cook the caramels over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes.

  • Stir constantly until the caramel is fully melted

- Bowls are full finely chopped with you your toppings of choice,

- Sauce Bottles are full and ready to go

- Make sure you have gloves on to help easily dress your apples with your topping
